How is the course assessed?
Our advanced personal training diploma course is assessed by a combination of theory modules, which you can study from home and practical workshops which take place in a gym or work based fitness setting. This combined assessment is designed for you to showcase your skills and Personal Trainer talents and ensures you’re ready to practice for real in the workplace.
Do I need any existing skills or sports abilities?
We do not require any specific fitness skills or sports abilities for you to complete this course. It is however helpful for you to have an interest in fitness and participating in exercise and feel that you will be competent coaching others within a gym-based setting.
What previous education is required?
As this course combines your Level 2 and Level 3 fitness qualifications we do not require any previous fitness qualifications.
How old do I need to be?
The minimum age for this fitness course is 16.
How long does it take to qualify as a Personal Trainer?
If you are keen to fast-track your study you can complete this course from 24 weeks or if you prefer you can study at your own pace with a maximum of two years to complete your study.
Is there an expiry date?
No. You will always have this nationally recognised NCFE fitness qualification to hand.
